General Door Information

How do I size my doors?	Preference is to specify by clear opening or I.D. of the frame. See C/O below. You can also specify the plate cut I.D. of your bulkhead.
How do I determine the swing?	Standing Outside of the Door If the hinges are on the left, it is a left hand door. If the hinges are on the right, it is a right hand door. See door swing below.
How do I specify a Deadlight?	Deadlights are general 10" but can be larger in certain cases. Available in: Bronze or Stainless Steel bolted pattern or steel weld on spigot
How do I determine what regulatory body or requirements need to be met?	First determine how your vessel is classified or certificated. Then check with U.S.C.G. and/or ABS about your requirements.
